Caleb Fish Dies in Jenning's County Automobile Accident, Others Sustained Non-Life Threatening Injuries

On April 30, 2017, at approximately 3:00 p.m., Caleb Fish was killed in an automobile accident in Jenning’s County on State Route 750. The 18-year-old North Vernon resident was traveling westbound in a 1995 GMC pickup truck when 53-year-old Michael Furlong, traveling in a 2004 Chevrolet pickup truck, turned out from U.S. 150, colliding with Fish’s vehicle.

The report from the Jennings County Coroner’s Office claims that Fish was pronounced dead at the scene. Both Furlong and the female passenger accompanying him at the time of the collision sustained non-life threatening injuries. Both individuals were transported to St. Vincent-Jennings Hospital for treatment.
